Trainee:
TravelTrex GmbH runs one of Colognes most successful trainee programmes and has been recognised for excellence several times by the IHK, the labour office and the city of Cologne. We educate for a career in business (travel manager, office administrator) and for technical careers (IT specialist in application development, IT specialist in system integration). Our trainee programme’s goal is to offer you a diverse, challenging and future oriented education with a high level of practical experience, and to optimally prepare you for your future career. The majority of our trainees are offered permanent positions and further their careers directly with TravelTrex. Before the start of a trainee programme, we offer candidates the opportunity to get to know our company through a paid internship. Applications from those taking a pause in their university studies are also welcome.
Internship:
Students have the opportunity with TravelTrex, to gain meaningful business experience during their studies and additionally to learn the operating cycles as well as the day-to-day business of an international company. As an intern you can expect exciting assignments, meaningful job responsibilities and challenging tasks, as you will be a fully valued member of the team. Due to our flat hierarchy, interns have the opportunity to develop important “soft skills” for their later business career and learn the answers to questions such as: How do I work in a team? How can I best communicate with my manager? How will I respond in stressful situations? Internships last from 5 to 6 months and are mainly in the winter months (time frame: September - March).

Permanent positions:
TravelTrex GmbH has the goal to become one of Europes largest holiday tour operators. Therefore, we are searching for qualified applicants with business experience in all areas to accompany us on our way. TravelTrex offers diverse possibilities to develop your career, whether your expertise is in business, tour management or in our IT department. Holiday rep:
As the largest winter sports tour operator in Germany, TravelTrex offers you the opportunity to become a holiday rep for one season in the Alps. There you will take over the organization of our holidays in resort, look after our guests and to represent our winter brand SnowTrex when questions or problems arise. There will also be enough time to enjoy the free of charge season lift pass for the ski area you are working in. In addition to your fixed salary and the opportunity to earn commission, we can also provide housing free of charge. The term for this position is from the end of November to mid April.
